Research Activities
OWS has developed the DRANCO, SORDISEP and DRANCO-FARM processes. OWS and its licensees have extensive and worldwide experience in biomethanisation plants. Moreover OWS offers consulting services in the field of biodegradation and compostability, waste composition, waste separation, recycling, integrated waste management and related legislation. OWS also provides contract research laboratory testing services for the determination of biodegradability and compostability of plastics, packaging materials, consumer products, detergents, etc. under strict quality conditions.
Contribution to PROSUITE
OWS is involved in the case study “Biorefineries and organic waste management” (Task 6.1). OWS contributes data to the assessment of biogenous pre-consumer and post-consumer waste and participates in the technology assessment.
