Focus on four high-profile new technologies

PROSUITE will deliver actual sustainability estimates for 4 technology cases, with close consultation of involved stakeholders.

The four case studies include:

  • Biorefinery technology to produce energy from organic waste
  • Nanotechnology focusing on nanoparticles in new textiles
  • Carbon storage and sequestration technology to reduce greenhouse gas emissions from power plants and large-scale industrial sources
  • Multifunctional mobile (telephone) devices containing rare metals that should be recycled
